Corey Brooks, 21, was born in Beckley West Virginia. He
graduated High School in 2007 and began on-line college with
Liberty University. He will graduate in May with his associates
degree in Religion.
He began music ministry in 2003. He is currently taking
mandolin lessons, songwriting, and is lead singer for the group.
Corey is looking forward to the travels that take him back to
the places where he has made so many friends. “When I
travel, it is almost like a family reunion at every stop. We have
‘family’ from the east to the west and I love seeing them all
again!”
Corey says, “When I look at the team that God has put
together, I am excited to see how He will use us. We each are
tuned in to God and just willing to go.”

Q: What was the first Christian album that you bought or were
given?
A: I don't remember which one came first but I had tapes of 'The
Saltine Kids' & 'Point of Grace.' The first CD I remember was Kirk
Franklin - God's Property.
Q: What was the most influential person in your life during your High
School years?
A: Probably my youth leader Chuck.
Q: How hard is it to manage your life on the road vs. your life at
home?
A: It honestly is hard sometimes. Both are so rewarding but being on
the road does make relationships harder. I don't know if I like home
or the road better.
Q: What is the funniest thing that has happened to you while on
tour?
A: There's a TON! Here's a few... (1) I was singing and walking
backwards and tripped over my own monitor. (2) Our RV fell into a
huge hole when the ground gave away at an RV resort we were staying
at. (3) At a show in LA a girl asked me if she could lick my elbow...
then all the kids took turns licking each other. Eww! (4) I did a stage
dive at a youth camp with 7 - 12 year olds... they dropped me!

A: Superman! duh!

A: Lecrae, 33Miles, & Skillet are some of favs at the moment.
